A Request for Questions..

You may recall that last winter I was involved in making a film about my work, which is now on MakerTube, here:

That has already been an interesting experience, but it provoked someone else, who feels there might be other interesting things to ask, and make into another film. This one is going to have an interview as the spine of it. The interviewer has known me for a decade or more and has read my book, but doesn’t know one end of a needle from the other, so he asks:

Me, a white woman with greying hair, working at an embroidery frame held under a magnifer and working light.

What would you want to ask? About Dreams of Amarna, about embroidery or textile art in general, about the relationship between painting and textile art?

Do you want detailed questions about techniques, or more general questions, about ideas, storytelling, and the like?

Ask Me Anything…

And anything not addressed in the interview I will pick up later and try to write about on here on the blog.
